之前我跟外國朋友分享一部魔術表演短片。

其實我外國朋友很討厭這類才藝秀，但考量這日本魔術師一開始用的伎倆實在很吸睛，

所以我還是忍不住跟外國朋友分享:

這支影片呈現的是，這名日本魔術師要讓現場幾位評審隨機翻頁，

頁面呈現的內衣褲顏色，就會是他身上所穿的內衣褲。

我一開始以為，要寬衣解帶的是那位日本魔術師御用的火辣助理。

那只是我以為。

你們看了影片就知道我為何這麼說了。

不過，很不巧的是，我給他的YouTube連結，在他的國家並無法播放。

於是我找到另一個連結給他看這部影片:

很可惜的是，這支影片直接破梗。

於是我外國朋友很失望，他告訴我:

"I could watch the clip of the Japanese magician on Facebook.

However, it rather lets the cat out of the bag as it shows a preview of the end

of the act at the start, which is stupid and totally spoils it. 

Otherwise, I know what you mean. He has a pretty assistant,

and I might expect her to take off her dress to show which colour underwear

she has on."

我也覺得挺可惜的，臉書的魔術表演短片怎能直接劇透呢? 

網路上針對"let the cat out of the bag" 的翻譯，是「無意中泄秘，說漏嘴」。

但這個idiom其實不用查，用上下文就可以知道意思了。

外國朋友後來針對這種魔術伎倆補充道:

"I think the trick must be done by rigging the book.

Although the girl shows some pages at the start,

the camera briefly looks away, so we can't see her turn back to the start.

When they judges pick a page, she turns all the pages over together so we don't see the other pages.

At that point, the pages they choose from must all be the same.

It's an old trick that even features in an episode of 'Columbo',

where a magician does a trick involving a random location in a street guide of the city,

but in fact all the pages show the same map.

Of course, it's the presentation and showmanship that makes the act."

經過我朋友這樣說，這魔術也不是魔術了啦。

不過還是很佩服會秀魔術的人。

尤其多年前看到有位台灣海外替代役，到布吉納法索，

當地沒什麼資源，但因為那位替代役會魔術，

他就用魔術為當地人製造娛樂，我就覺得好溫馨。 

後來上網查，這位海外替代役，是黃煜晏，現在是醫師。

我跟黃煜晏醫師沒有合作關係。只是因為剛好講到黃煜晏醫師當初在非洲的義演，所以順便附上我查到的連結:
